PROFILE:

Andrea Jenkins has been working as a designer, art director and creative director since 1993.

She began her career in San Francisco in print publishing at Wired Magazine. After 2 years of reporting on the birth of new technologies and the Internet, Andrea joined on with one of the first Web content producers in the Bay Area, CNET.COM.

Andrea continued working on the Internet in creative management roles for 6 more years at various companies, tapping into the various online trends as they happened: news & entertainment content portals, gaming, e-commerce, online music delivery and currently sports media.

In the past few years, Andrea returned to her creative roots and is just designing. Located in New York City and Beaufort, South Carolina.

Andrea's Web site designs have won awards from AdWeek, NYC Art Director's Club & Communication Arts. She has lectured on Internet design at conferences, and has been published in both LIMN The Magazine of International Art & Design, The New York Times, as well as, the Elements of Web Design, by Darci Di Nucci.
